Purdue Extension – Allen County, with Master Gardener volunteers and other experts, have developed a program to recognize citizens and neighborhood associations by certifying them as sustainable. For using specific sustainable practices in their home gardens and landscapes, citizens and neighborhood associations can earn special recognition including a sign to post on property, discounts on plants, milkweed seed, and other grab bag “goodies”.

If you or your neighborhood are interested in being recognized for your good work in making our environment better for future generations, please contact Purdue Horticulture Educator Ricky Kemery at 260 481-6435 or kemeryr@purdue.edu.
