It’s Christmastime in Northeast Indiana which means it’s time for Fort Wayne’s favorite wintertime tradition, The Phil’s Holiday Pops. The 2012 installment of the long-running series features old and new friends, music that crosses centuries and genres, and the return of The Phil Chorus to Holiday Pops.
This season, The Phil’s former associate conductor Bradley Thachuk is back by popular demand to lead The Phil through the whole spectrum of holiday music, ranging from Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus to songs composed by John Williams for the score of Home Alone.
The Phil is also delighted to welcome back performers from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music this year. The talent of these musical theatre students brings a life to these Christmas classics that audiences aren’t going to find anywhere else. Combine their skills with the return of the voices of The Phil Chorus after a three year absence and the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir and this edition of Holiday Pops is something you won’t want to miss! There’s even word going around the Embassy that Santa himself may make an appearance!
Tickets to Holiday Pops start at only $28.
Tickets are available by visiting or calling The Phil Box Office at 260-481-0777, or online at fwphil.org.
