This year the Three Rivers Choral Festival will be conducted by Henry Leck, associate professor of music at Butler University, and the founder and artistic director of the Indianapolis Children's Choir. The festival will feature the Fort Wayne Children's Choir Youth Chorale, Northside High School, Bluffton High School, New Haven High School, Concordia Lutheran High School, Heartland Sings, and the IPFW University Singers.
Clinicians for the festival include Heartland Sings Artistic Director Robert Nance, IPFW Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Studies Vaughn Roste, and Fort Wayne Children's Choir Executive Artistic Director Jonathan Busarow.
During the concert each choir will sing selections from their own repertoire. To conclude, the choirs will join together to sing "Five Hebrew Love Songs" by Eric Whitacre, directed by Mr. Leck and accompanied by principal players from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
