Got to http://www.pgcni.org/waw.html to see a complete listing of locations for Write a Will Week.

During the week of October 21-25, The Planned Giving Council of Northeast Indiana, more than 25 local nonprofits, and local attorneys will be making it possible for individuals to have free, simple wills prepared.

The nonprofit agencies have grouped together to make it easier to give a little and make a big difference. These organizations will be partnering in the Leave a Legacy Write a Will campaign and have made arrangements with volunteer attorneys that will prepare a simple will for anyone who makes a bequest to their preferred charitable organization.

“An end of life gift is a way for you to preserve a long term legacy without causing a burden on your current cash flow,” says Richard Cummins, Chief Development Officer for The Rescue Mission, one of the many participating agencies. “You give a little, the world becomes a better place and you have no cost for the preparation.”

For a full list of participating agencies and professionals, to find an event near you, or to find out more information about the program and its many benefits, visit www.pgcni.org. You can also contact Richard Cummins at 260.426.7357 ext. 138, or via e-mail at richard@therescuemission.net.
