The Summit City Singers invite all to attend the Spring 2016 concert series with the theme "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, INDIANA!" in celebration of Indiana’s 200th birthday. All of the songs have some connection to Indiana either by someone who wrote or performed it. There are some obvious songs such as “Anything Goes” by Cole Porter, “Heart and Soul” by Hoagy Carmichael, “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5, and “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.” by John Mellencamp. But what’s the Indiana connection of “Take Me Out To the Ballgame” and “Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight”? All concerts are free and open to the public and are family friendly no matter what the age. . Donations are always welcome and appreciated.

Summit City Singers is a Community Choir based in Fort Wayne although the singers come from many towns around the area. . The group formed in 2006 with 30 singers. Today there are approximately 60 singers in the group. Judy King is the Director and Barbara Krick is the accompanist.
