A terrible tragedy was delivered to our great nation on September 11, 2001. Each year since, an event has been held in our county seat to commemorate the losses and the heroisms that arose from that day. We Must Never Forget! This year's program will include powerful speeches from military and/or emergency services workers, as well as government officials, on how 9-11 has affected their work and their lives, as well as the United States in general.
We will have patriotic music, presented by outstanding local singers and musicians, all at the site of the Kosciusko County 9-11 Memorial, which was designed, constructed and paid for solely through fundraisers and donations of money, time, and materials. The Memorial also pays tribute to the emergency services workers of Kosciusko County who have given their lives in the line of duty. It occupies a fitting spot overlooking Central Park and beautiful Center Lake in Warsaw. Some seating is provided for the ceremony.
Admission & Parking are free.
