THE CHAPEL REMEMBERS 9/11
Special Services To Be Held In Honor Of 15 Year Anniversary
The Chapel will be using their regular weekend services to stop and remember the events of September 11, 2001. Saturday, September 10 at 6:00 pm and Sunday, September 11 at 9:15 and 10:30 am, The Chapel will hold special services featuring patriotic music with a live orchestra and special videos along with a special message from Pastor Rick Hawks titled "A People In Crisis."
“It is hard to believe that fifteen years have passed,” says Rick Hawks, Pastor of The Chapel. "We believe that it is important to stop and remember. There was a consistent message after the terror attacks 'Never Forget.' This simple message resounded in every American in days following the attacks, and we feel it is important to keep that message alive."
“This program is our gift to the community,” says Music Director, Cathy Hawks. "We want to reignite the America spirit that was so alive after these tragic events. It is our hope that through these special services that we will honor everyone; from those who lost their lives that day to those who continue to serve and protect today."
Along with special music and videos, Pastor Hawks will begin a new sermon series titled, "A People In Crisis," drawing parallels from the book of Ester to our modern day situations.
