The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department will be offering the radKIDS program to kids ages 5-7 at the Hendry Park School in Angola. The four night program is November 6, 7, 13 and 14th, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
The radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education Program provides education for children and their parents emphasizing awareness and personal safety strategies, building confidence and reducing the possibility of violence and/or harm.
radKIDS is taught by Deputy Sheriff’s who are certified instructors in various topics including: home, school, and vehicle safety; good, bad and uncomfortable touches; stranger tricks; and physical resistance options to escape violence.
