Teach on the Beach will be hosting a "Taste of Fort Wayne" which includes a silent auction on March 23rd from 6-9pm at the Scout Park Conference Center (2300 Meyer Road) in Fort Wayne. There will be live music by local group: Hope Arthur and friends, as well as auction items for bid, and great food from area restaurants to taste. This is a fundraiser for a group of local high school volunteers from Bishop Luers & Bishop Dwenger who will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa in June through a nonprofit called Teach on the Beach. They will be spending their time in Ghana working in the field of education teaching in the local village school and running the afterschool programs.

Tickets are $10 at the door and all proceeds go towards supporting the volunteers and their travel experience to Ghana, West Africa.

In June a group of young adults from Bishop Luers and Bishop Dwenger will be traveling from Fort Wayne to spend their summer in Ghana, West Africa volunteering through a nonprofit organization called Teach on the Beach.

On March 23rd we would like to invite you to our second annual Silent Auction and “Taste of Fort Wayne” fundraiser. This year it will be held at the Scout Conference Center, 2300 Meyer Road, from 6-9pm. Tickets are $10 at the door and include drinks and food.

Also, the evening will feature live music from local group, Hope Arthur and friends, silent auction items, and a chance to taste food from many restaurants in our community such as: Don Halls, Calhoun Street Soups, Salads, and Spirits, Nine Mile, Wings Etc., Waynedale Bakery, Wrigley Field Bar & Grill, Magdelina Cupcakery, and Rack and Helens- all while supporting Teach on the Beach and these young volunteers. All proceeds from the evening will support the service experience of the Bishop Luers and Bishop Dwenger students traveling to Ghana.
