Six Characters in Search of an Author
By Luigi Pirandello
Directed by Bev Redman
Studio Theatre

Dec. 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 8:00 p.m.
Dec. 4 2:00 p.m.

Floating onto the stage like apparitions, six characters interrupt a rehearsal at a professional theatre to demonstrate that their "lives" remain suspended by the fictional author who abandoned them before completing his ghastly story. They beg the company to make them into a theater production and create a proper conclusion to their story. When the company takes on the challenge, we discover that fiction may be more real than reality and that the lives of the so-called real actors are just as horrifying as those of the so-called fictional characters they are depicting.
