Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana holds its 10th Annual Tribute Dinner at Hotel Fort Wayne on Thursday, September 18. Dan Shapiro, Chair of the Department of Humanities at Penn State College of Medicine, will share humorous and inspiring stories about facing the challenges of cancer treatment from his perspective as a two‐time cancer survivor and a caregiver.
This event offers guests an opportunity to pay tribute to those touched by cancer, whether a survivor, caregiver, physician, or lost loved one.
Cancer Services will also name this year’s Champion of Hope, an award given to an individual who embodies the mission of the organization through his or her lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer in Northeast Indiana.
The Tribute Dinner is a special evening for Cancer Services and the community. Money raised at the event helps pay for programs and services for people with cancer and their families in Northeast Indiana.
Individual tickets are $100.
