The Whitley County Historical Museum in Columbia City, IN will have a Spiral Rope Beading Class on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 am. Spiral beading is a stitch that appears to be a twisted bead rope. Spiral beading looks particularly effective using contrasting color beads. This is a versatile stitch that you can use to make many different projects such as necklaces, purse handles, bracelets, and more. Let your imagination run wild! You will go home with a finished bracelet as well as the knowledge to do it again by yourself.

Pat Smith, a Potawatomie Citizen, will teach the class. Pat is known for her beadwork, storytelling, regalia designs, ribbon and Seminole work. She especially enjoys sharing with others.

Cost is $20.00. Questions call: (260) 244-6372.
