The Fort Wayne Derby Girls will be hitting the track for their second home game of the year at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, March 28st at 6pm. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. This event is a double header, with Fort Wayne’s internationally ranked Bomb Squad skating against the Brawlstars of Ann Arbor Derby Dimes from Ann Arbor, MI. After the first game, Fort Wayne’s SWAT team will face off against Ann Arbor’s Arbor Bruising Co.
Partial proceeds from the night will benefit Hoosier Burn Camp, a nonprofit organization committed to providing life-changing experiences for young people who have suffered the physical and emotional trauma associated with a severe burn injury.
All bouts are family-friendly events and everyone is invited to watch the great roller derby action.
Tickets are $12 at the Coliseum Box Office. Discounted tickets are available for $7 for children (5-12) and $9 for military, seniors (65+) and college students with an ID. Children under 5 receive free admission. Tickets are also available at Ticketmaster.com for an additional fee. Tickets provide general admission and seats will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
Directly after the event, stop by Wrigley Field Bar and Grill on E. State Boulevard to help the Fort Wayne Derby Girls continue to celebrate their tenth season. Everyone 21+ is welcome to attend the after-party to meet and mingle with both returning and new Fort Wayne Derby Girl skaters.
